Thoughts on some possible accessory upgrades

I've got plenty of memory cards, but they come in the 2GB and 4GB varieties. Finally bought an 8GB for the mirrorless camera because it does video. I have yet to run out of memory and I haven't had any issues with swapping out cards. Even in the heat of battle, there is a momentary lapse in the action. Doesn't your camera have a countdown? Keep an eye on it and swap out before needed.

Instead, I suggest to apply the money for a ball head with QR if you get a monopod. Being able to flip to portrait orientation without poking the person to your right's left eye out and still be stable is invaluable.

Well thanks everyone for the thoughts/suggestions, I decided to go ahead and get the Black Rapid Yeti and another 16 GB Sandisk Extreme for now, I'll be shooting a company event in a couple of weeks and I think they'll both come in handy. Ordered the Yeti from B&H photo, Hadn't ordered anything from them for a while and thought I'd "spread the love".. lol.
