I gave my 3 year old my old Sammy TL220 and sent him out side. I didn't teach or show him anything, just wanted to see what he could do. These pics are from a 3 year old with an ancient digi and also his first time ever taking pics. All that considered, I was pretty impressed. Just thought Id share this really awesome moment with you guys

1,2 &3 really show what a difference perspective makes. When was the last time you were nose to nose with the mailbox? Or that close to a rock or a leaf?

Very cool! My son started shooting with my old 5mp Samsung when he was 4. Now his older sister has joined in. It never ceases to amaze me what they find interesting or important. It is truly fascinating! I haven't let them do any editing yet, but I just installed Lightroom on the machine they use for school work. It should be interesting.

Nice! Its so great to get children involved in photography. [emoji1] love that leaf one. When I took our 7 yr old to the most magical place on earth this summer, I loaded some black and white film into a vintage 620 film box toy camera to see Disney through her eyes and they are images we will treasure forever. Its so awesome to see the world through their eyes. [emoji7]
