Tiger at the Zoo

OK, well Here goes. This is my first post and I thought I would put myself out there to see how it goes. This was a Sumatran Tiger at the San Fransisco Zoom a couple of weeks ago. I liked how the Grass formed that geometric pattern in the background. I did do a little photoshopping, but only to correct a slight underexposure problem. Well have fun.

Pretty good. Seems out of focus though. Maybe the depth of field could be just a little deeper? I like the background.

Yeah. I don't think the focus is on, or it might be too shallow a depth, but there is something not right on the focus.
I love the colors though.

Yeah I would have to agree with the focus comments. I thought the picture could stand up in-spite of it though. I was shooting through a pane of really dirty glass and the camera kept wanting to focus on that rather then where I told it. I must have taken that picture 5 times. Thanks though.

It's a nice photo. I wish the background was a bit brighter. The focus is very soft.

Try manual focus through glass.
