Hi

Fairly new to editing digital photo's. Could someone tell me how to remove the green netting from the photo below.

Thanks

If you don't mind I gave it a try.

Step one was to use a freehand cut out tool, to remove the tiger and his stand. Blurred the rest of the photo and pasted the cat back in. A little touch-up around the edges that were cut.

It is not the best, but a quick job.

What photo editting do you have? I find the best way to learn is ask, and this a GREAT place to learn

Like I said, I hope you don't mind what I did to you photo, which is quite nice BTW.

Another way would be to use a clone tool , but it looked like waaay too much work on this one.

If you have any other questions, or don't understand what I did please ask.

Nice Job!. I can just see the netting, but only because I am looking for it. Bluring the background worked a treat, my eye now leads straight to the main subject.

Thanks for the advise :)

PS. I use Photoshop 7

You could simply cut the tiger & tree out and use a completely different background.

You could use the clone tool and get rid of the net...but that would be very tedious and take forever.

The technique shown looks good and makes a big difference but it would look really cool if the net was not there at all. Then it might look like a wild tiger.

Nice shot by the way.

Another option would have been to shoot with a wide aperture to blur out the background at the time of shooting.
