The first of these look like there is some speed involved, at last. The other one you showed looks like he was standing there (with something holding his bicycle in balance) pulling a face AS IF he worked hard. Now we see they DO work hard. Are they allowed to use these kinds of handlebars in the time challenge?

Hah thx Lafoto for your comment.
Is a picture not a frozen moment??
I think it's hard with something coming straight at you( like a bike or a car) to get speed in a picture don't you think??
If there is a way please teach me cuz I'm willing to learn here.
Off course the handlebars are allowed, these bikes are specially made for timechallenges and can cost up to even a mindblowing 10000€ (Imagine what photogear one could get for that price);)

#1 is the best shot for the panning, but it seems a bit under exposed to me.
#2 is too wide for my taste
#3, #4 are all right
#5 a slower shutter would have allowed for more spoke blur
#6 Slower shutter speed again, and seems under exposed a touch.

I would suggest numbering the shots, as it makes it easier to comment.

I'm no expert so takes these comments with a grein of salt.

All in all nice shots though.

Cheers
