Times Square New York - Amazing Place

In day light, it is very nice but nothing compared to what it is like after dark. The weather started out quite nice.

Then it got quite foggy.

When it got dark, the real show began. The various advertising displays are something to behold.

And then the rain came down and it took on a whole new appearance. To me it looked even better. It seemed to take on a whole new life and everyone just went about their business despite the rain.

Whoo, great series. Well worth the wear and tear on my scrolling finger. It has got my appetite whetted for a trip down there.

MAN....I would love to get a chance to take photos like that....however.....people in big crowds suck, and I havea short temper. knowing my luck somebody would **** me off and I would loose it....

It's the army's fault i'm this way.....at least that's the story i'm sticking too. I tend not to trust people in jcrowds, always looking for the one that's going to make a mistake....tot he point that i let the small things get to me.

Got some great shots there! Out of interest was it bright enough to hand-hold, or did you have to use a tripod?

It was bright enough to hand hold but I usually leaned against a building or post for some support. It is amazingly bright.

Wow! These are so cool! These are the kind of photos I would have WANTED to take in Times Square some two weeks ago, but I wasn't given the time to do any real "studies" of the place. A pity. I think I must go back to New York again one day. I really liked it there!
