Tiny flower on mug handle...

I was looking for a place to show off this tiny flower. I liked this mug but does it work? Is the mug 'taking over' the picture? The white on the top is kinda of distracting I think too. Any suggestions?

I like the idea, but to me it seems like the flower is slightly out of focus.
