Alright, help me out here... Took this photo, made a couple different crops, and each one make it a different photo with a different feel or feeling altogether, or at least I think so. This is the same frame crops 3 different ways. The first image is the unedited image. While I like it, I didn't leave it with a long enough depth of field and the lower third of the image is too soft for my liking with this image. #1 #2 #3 #4
I like #4 best, to me this is a hard pic to see, the subj seems to be the flower but the face keeps jumping out. I think I may be looking to hard because it is a nice pic. Just my opinion
I like the idea here but it might be even better without the face. My eye is immediately drawn to the upper left hand corner. Even when i concentrate on the flower my eye is pulled back up to the face. Nice photo.
I see two dominant areas contending to be the main subject--The rose and the face. The face is stealing too much attention from the rose.
i like 3 the best. it shows a enough shoulder - without that I feel very confused by what the heck the ladies face is doing next to the rose so close
