I love this photo.
My only problem is the shadow behind her.
I haven't decided if I like it or not.
I took this photo with one light on her. I'm thinkin' that maybe I should've had a light above her also. Maybe a soft light.

Any opinions?
Any advice?
It doesn't have to be just about the shadow.
I just enjoy learning from others.

Thanks
Jenny

I think the shadow is just a little bit harsh. But I think the direction of the light and the depth in her face is really good. I probably would go with a softbox/umbrella for this shot. Aside from the shadow, I say great shot. The colors are great.

The shadow doesn't distract me as much as the 'sharpness' of the picture. Did you boost the 'unsharp mask' on this picture? I find the white specks in her hair distract from her face.

Did you try playing with it in black and white to try and reduce the shadow? Just a thought.

Thank-you Personalized Stamp. I appreciate your opinion.

loves_guitar - I haven't tried doing a black and white version, yet.
The hair is a bit too shiny.

I haven't increased the sharpness at all.
It was just a crisp photo.

Thank-you for your input.
