This is about 20 minutes from home, I shot this at iso800 and used one of my presets in Lightroom to try and get a Kodak Tri-X look

I like them.

2 could be improved if I knew what I was looking for. Also ,the horizon seems crooked.

The Tri-X filter failed, because I can't see any grain, and I could ALWAYS see grain with Tri-X when I saw the prints. ;)
 
#2 has great promise. I'd work on the foreground. Brighten and clarify. The crissed-crossed landscape is cool and the brush looks like barbed wire.
 
I like 1, though it is kinda simple

2 seems really cool but is underexposed... I suggest you brighten it up &maybe add a little contrast... In my opinion; as long as you don't overdo it, squeeze in as much contrast as possible. Again, dont overdo it but additional contrast can add a lot of feeling to b&w
