Tooth Brush (sketch book #2)

In my grade 11 photography class we had to do a our second sketch book assignment. The assignment was to:

Take a picture of a person or object in it's provided setting.
Take a second picture of the same person or object BUT make changes to create a better composition. (do not change setting)

So I chose a tooth brush on a small mirror (an interesting composition)

1).

The edge of the mirror in the background makes the composition a little distracting so I took it out.

2).

I took the edge of the mirror out and zoomed in on the head of the tooth brush.

Think this is ok? Think I will get a good mark?

all you did was change the focal length, I think your instructor implied a different angle perhaps?
