If you've got Amazon Prime I recommend checking out a new program that went out today regarding wildlife photography - The Grand Tour - Episode 2
I've also come to a scary realisation that the 3 represent the photographers pathway through life!
First comes the Hamster Discovery Phase - loads of gear for everything; pockets here pockets there; filters, flashes macro and wide angle and zoom lenses and all.
Then comes the Clarkson Era where you swap it all for one monster of a wildlife lens that weighs half an elephant
Finally you mature and retire into the May Days when you swap it all for an ultra light point and shoot with a really good zoom on it.
Sadly I'm still in the Hamster to Clarkson transfer period (I've yet to sell half my organs for the huge lens)
(anyone caught taking this documentary seriously, to heart or otherwise believing more than 25% of what Clarkson says will be taken outside and exposed to 10 years of British comedy to repair their funnybone
