The weather cooperated today (ie it didn't rain or snow!) as a group of eight photographers gathered in Toronto to wander around and take pictures. We met at Union Station, then went to BCE Place, and passed the Hockey Hall of Fame, the Flatiron Building and the St. Lawrence Market on the way to the Distillery District. Here’s a group shot of those who made it out and braved the cold:

(Top row) Jewel (Jewel32), Karen
(Middle row) Donna (Julie's sister), Suzanne (Megapaws), Jenn (Carroll1), Jeanne (Antarctican), Carl (Chiller)
(Kneeling) Nelson

Suzanne has a better version of this picture, so I hope she posts it.

Many more pics to come, so stay tuned!!

I LOVE that. I think if the bench was in the bottom right corner and the screen was in the top left, it would be more balanced, but I still love the idea.

A little more contrast, and saturation could make it pop a bit more:

If anyone wants to think about doing one in Seattle, i'm all for it.

Ooooh, great shots! I stickied this for ya! :p

...but I don't know everyone...can you maybe put usernames next to thier real names in the group shot description?

........thanks for the stickem Corry.

Well, another Toronna meet has passed, and another awesome laugh filled time was had. Soooooo cool to see everyone again. The wind chill could have stayed away, but still had a blast.
This was my first time having the camera out of the bag in 5 weeks, and it felt like I was starting over. :grumpy:
I threw these together real quick. Might see what people shots I got.
After Union Station we headed over to the BCE place

After a quick stop for lunch, we ended up at the Distillery.

This is why I like cycling better then driving. Parking is always available.

...not my bike.

Kinda dug this guy.... I would have this on my living room wall.

We were not supposed to take pics in this place, but....it was too late.

On the trek back we made a few stops. The entrance to a church.

These guys were just amazing. I only managed to snap a few shots, as the heavies came and chased everyone away.

Oh, a meet-up on my birthday!
It looks like it was a lot of fun. There's so many great shots here that I can't specifically name my favorites. :)

These are some of the open windows from this unused distillery. Still not sure how they open these, as there are no floors in this place.

Great work Carl. So I have to ask, how many people waived meat cleavers at Suzanne :)

Did you guys get any pics of the cool trucks at the Distillery? I will pretend like I was there and post these.

Poor Suzanne! She had a run-in on the TTC before she even met up with us, then another by the St. Lawrence Market. Could have been more, but those are the ones I heard about. And she's such a sweetie, it's so hard to imagine why people get all uppity with her.

Yep, saw the trucks. Gonna post pics of mine later tonight, hopefully.

Had so much fun on Saturday! Thanks everyone for coming out : lol
