I was walking along the Thames the other day and caught Tower Bridge opening. Here's the result:

EXIF: f/4 1/4000sec ISO200

I would love any feedback you can give me!

Thanks :)

If anyone has any comments on how it could be improved throw them at me! I love to learn

I actually love the color of ur pic , but i will love it more if the smoke line on the top of the bridge didnt exist. Anw it is uncontrolable.

f/4 1/4000sec ISO200

f8 @ 1/1000, ISO200 or f11 1/500 or ISO100 f8 1/500; f11 1/250..all giving you sharper depth i would think (assuming you are using a DSLR, not a compact) Did you meter off the sky? focal length? 1/250 may be too shakey.

Nice sky and silhouette, and I don't mind the trail, but I would crop off some of the solid black from the bottom.

Focal length was 50mm.

I was on full manual and aiming for a silhouette of the bridge and some nice sunset colours for the background. I think I pretty much got it, though maybe a little crop to get rid of some of the darkness at the bottom as KenC said would improve it?

Ii was wondering why you chose f4? The lens would be sharper/optimal stopped down..eg around f8.
