Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
I worked on this old shot a bit more. Looks better without colour I believe :)

Edit: now that I looked at it again, I noticed the thing is wearing Goodyears. So I am wondering what that little Michelin man is doing on the radiator?

Nice shot, I love the detail.

Wow thats a picture of a tractor and i actually like it it. It looks almost surreal...

Very well done. This is the first photo of a tractor that I've seen in a long time that has actually been interesting. I think what really makes the shot is that the foreground is like a cross-section of the grass.

very interesting... is that the michelin guy ? awsome !

HDR? If not, what did you do to the shot? Its really stunning, it looks like there should be a mushroom cloud three frames to the right.

hmm, who knows, could it be......film?

everybody's got HDR on the brain!

I like it. A little burning across the top edge would finish it up nicely.

Good lighting and good film...no problem.

LOL Yep, it's a little HDR.
Here's my layers and adjustment layers. 0 is at the bottom, 5 is on top.

5. Hue/Saturation, sliding all saturation away to make this B&W.
4. Copy of the original shot, filtered with "high pass" and the layer set to "hard light" to sharpen the details and adds a little grain.
3. A curves layer to darken the midtones and to brighten the highlights
2. A masked "levels" layer to make the clouds more threathening.
1. Copy of the original shot, lightened with one extra exposure stop and everything masked away. I used a Wacom tablet to paint in the mask and make the tractor "pop".
0. The original shot.
