Tres quacks - C&C please

First two from a quick drive by the local park on an overcast day. Third one was midday on the Red River in New Mexico. Don't think I'm gonna see any of the white stuff in Texas this year.

1. My first attempt at a panning shot. Should have used a faster shutter speed to stop th wings. Program mode, 300mm, f5.6, 1/100, iso 200

2. Program mode, 300mm, f5.6, 1/125, iso 200

3. Program mode, 300mm, f5.6, 1/1250, iso 200

200 ISO, and these shots seem grainy to me.

Nikon D40 and they're cropped way down. Too lazy to get out the truck on the first 2. The last shots were wild ducks and they didn't stick around to let me get any closer. I'm assuming the cropping would make them more grainy on 6mp sensor.(?)
