Trick-Or-Treat Halloween Shoot

I finally got my daughter to cooperate with me for a few minutes to take some shots of her as Elmo. Tried it last weekend but she bailed on me as soon as we got the outfit on, despite the fact that she eats, lives and breathes ELMO. Never got a shot of her looking directly at me, but I'll take what I can get.

BG was simply a black bedsheet, as I have yet to invest in any backgrounds. Lighting consisted of an Alien Bee 800 strobe with a giant octabox. I also used a sigma EF500 super flash triggered by the Bee to give a little separation from the BG. There was a slight retoughing for the BG to give it a slight Gray/black gradient fill so it wasn't completely black.

I too use bed sheets lol, they work just as good as any other background.

Great shots, kid makes an awesome elmo too.
