As photography is about exploring and learning, I decided to try my hand at some candid street photography. Here are some of the better ones.

Any C&C would be appreciated, good or bad (preferably bad so that I can learn and progress :) )

1. Street vendor

2. Taking a break crossing the road

3. Yawning / Good thing he has that coffee

4. Lady in the red jacket – I’m not usually a fan of selective colouring, but I feel it fits well with this image. Her jacket was sticking out visually in colour too.

Street photography is an art form all by itself. When the muse is with you the results are phenomenal, but when she's gone to lunch you get snapshots of nothing. I believe this type of photography needs to 'tell a story', with every shot and with the series as a whole. Just go do lots more, have some fun and keep your mind open for when the muse comes knocking.
