Trying to connect strobe soft box to stand for flash

i have two soft boxes I currently use with strobes. Image way they mount now is it just goes around the strobe and tighten the 4 set screws on the soft box bracket. I am looking for help on ideas of how to mount the soft box on a stand and not use the strobes but an off camera flash instead. Hopefully can figure it out so I can use the boxes I already have and not have to purchase others for portable use. Picture of the bracket on the soft box is attaches.

IF you want to use a speedlight instead of a strobe you'd need to find a different speedring for the softbox that will enable the mounting of a speedlight.

A bracket like this one, 'though it might need some 'tweaking' should work.
