We did some shopping and had a nice lunch out and the photo excursion of the day was to Canadian Forces Base Borden, home of Canadas first Air Force Base.
A recent addition to the gate was this Kiowa helicopter
While looking at the aircraft on display I saw a man with his grandson so I offered to take a photo of both of them and he reciprocated with a photo of my wife and I.
A old Huey helicopter now used as a battle damage training aid
My only shot of a Moose. A retired Moose Squadron CF-5 Freedom Fighter now retired to the museum
Tail of a T-33
Sabre silhouette, one of the many vintage aircraft on display
We were lucky to catch two Griffon helicopters practicing approaches
Wednesday should be an uneventful photo day as it is raining and we are planning a trip to Casino Rama for some fun and food. Although I was out early to capture a few crow images and a piliated woodpecker.
Well, back to the holiday Cheers,
Eric
