Have notices a few people here shooting tungsten film in nature lighting. IMO the colors look soft like an old hand colored B&W. I am going to try some soon. My question is what film should I use. I found 3 slide and 2 print films. Any opinions

slide
1) Fujichrome 64T
2) Ektachrome 64T
3) Ektachrome 160T
print
4) Fujicolor Professional Tungsten ISO-160
5) Kodak Portra-100T

Jeff: I've never tried it in outdoors settings. Hopefully PBailey will see your post, since he has posted beautiful stuff with some kind of tungsten film (but which one he's used escapes me).

I've used the EktachromeT 64 a few times, but only for copystand work. It's rendered great results, but again, this isn't the purpose you have in mind.
