Which would you upgrade first? Cameras seem to be released more often then lens. So what's your opinions?

What kind of problems are you having with that set up and for what subject matter ?

I assume you aren't doing macro or family portraits.

Well no problems. I'm just seeing in general what people would opt for first.

For me I do mainly BIF.

Good, I was going to recommend a 16mm
But since you do BIF and have no problems, then why upgrade?

Go for a FF body with a longer lens ?
Newer crop body, such as a 7dm2 for more fps.
Maybe go for a longer lens to get closer to the subjects?
It just depends upon how you are capturing the BIF, and if you have to crop a lot to get a final photo or get more shots to get better photo selections.

It's more of a fun/fantasy thought for the future. And gathering opinions. I was looking at that 7dm2 not gonna lie. But if was gonna do another lens it would prob be the canon 500. To me that's a worthwhile upgrade. Of course money is the only issue there ha.

In your case I'd go lens first. The improvement a 500 lens will give over a 300 for bif is more in my opinion than the same sensor wrapped in a slightly better body

Lenses are forever, camera bodies are released about once a year.

I was about 70/30 lens. That's good to hear majority would go lens. I know what to save for now

I just Google'd "bif." Not a pretty sight.

I started with the lenses and then body.

I went to a Tamron 150-600, though getting a prime has it's advantages.

I also had a 300/4 (for Nikon) but I mostly used that for portraiture and solar shots. So I had to ask what you used yours for first.
