Upgraded Lightroom Catalogues

Hi!

So I upgraded my Lightroom catalogues from LR3 to LR4 and now every catalogue I upgraded seems to have a "-2" at the end of the name...
So now I have two files for every catalogue for example: "Travels.lrcat" and "Travels-2.lrcat" - I found out that both of these catalogues are the same, but (kind of keep synchronised, evethough I have only been using the "-2.lrcat".
Is it ok to delete the first one and rename the other one to the original name? Could it do any harm? Cause I don't really like the "-2" endings at my catalogue names now...

Why not try it? Don't delete, but simply move the file to another folder and see if it still works. If it doesn't move it back.
