Hello, all!

I'm new to this site and not clear if asking questions is par for the course, so let me know if I'm out of line.

I'm curious if it's possible to use two different brands of flashes off camera at the same time? Right now I'm using a Canon 430EX II with wireless transceivers / transmitters (Yongnuo), which I love. I can't afford to get another Canon speedlite right now, but I'd really like to get a second, maybe even a third flash. If I do, will I be able to use them in conjuncture with the 430EX II off camera, provided I have the proper transceiver / transmitter setup?

Thank you!

Absolutely; I've done set-ups with up to four different brands of flash (Nikon, Vivitar, Yongnuo and ??) works fine as long as you have the triggers, and asking questions is absolutely fine. Ask away... lots of knowledge and experience here to help you.

Yes. A 622tx plus two 622s might be a nice setup for you.

Thank you! Once I have the 622TX, can I keep adding sets of 622s as needed, or is it only compatible with one set?

Many as you want
