Ive been shooting with my 24-70L bare and would like to get some glass to protect it. I was looking @ the B+W's. Some are like $50 and some over $100. What UV filter would you put on your L lens?
Thanks for your advice

Here is a scientific test of a bunch of filters. UV filters test - Introduction - Lenstip.com

Would you please read through the article, and then come back here and summarize the results, and tell us which filters are the best? I'd be interested to hear your conclusions.

That's the best way, except use a lens hood to enhance contrat and minimize flare. A hood also provides a 'safety zone' for the front element of your lens.

As far as protecting from front lens element scratches: LensRentals.com - Front Element Scratches
