V-Flats (where to buy)

Hello everyone. I'm enjoying the forum a lot! Thought I'd use my first post to get a question answered.

I want to get some V-Flats. A white and a black one. When ever I search for some online, I only see where they show you how to make them. Are there any sites that sell them?

Home Depot has some nice, very large, lightweight styrofoam insulation sheets for about $15 per sheet...these things are light in weight, and BIG...the shipping costs due to size would be prohibitive; think the size of a twin mattress... I know this is not what you asked. Just saying though, 1-inch thick styrofoam sheets, with a metallic-like silver finish, $14.99 a pop...other side suitable for painting white, or black...

V-Flats? I'd suggest a specialist retailer of drum equipment as I've not seen them in a few years. Mind you there are other brands of flats availible now and possibly I'm thinking of a different product!

Good lawd! $136? $121? Australian dollars? Checked Home Depot...some at $12.99, some $9.57 per sheet...add 40 cents' worth of tape...
