Vancouver this Summer

This summer I took a trip to Vancouver to see my girlfriend (she's a grad student there). We took a trip to Stanley Park for a picnic.

I tried to take some shots of the boats and ships in English Bay and Burrard Inlet, and they came out ok...

However, I think the Raccoon that was nice enough to pose for me on a fence in the park came out great. (Of course, he owed me a nice photo, since we almost had a fist fight over the food we'd brought for our picnic.)

I did try to take a photo of my girlfriend on one of the dark, woodsy trails, but it came out a tad blurry and much too dark. (I'm very much still learning, I mostly put everything on Auto right now, and just hope).

I love Stanley Park
