I was going to put this in photojournalism, but I discovered that I never wrote it up. So, you just get the pics. Aren't I nice?

One Sunday in July a bunch of us rode north from the Tri-Cities to see some of our brethren in Moses Lake (or Loch Moses as the locals refer to it). I had to go to work for about an hour so I had to split off from the group and run solo to work & home.

Along the way to work is the Vantage Scenic Lookout. Here's the view.

2. Looking south down the river

3. Looking all the way from north to south along the river

4. What passes for a tree around here. It's about 8 inches tall.

While the landscape in southeastern Washington can be stark, it can also be quite beautiful. :)

#1 and #3 are breathtaking, lovely colours and beautifully sharp DOF. really nice tonal range too (almost feels HDR to me in places) :D

I feel as if the images just get worse and worse as you go down...
Lucky for you, that leaves number six as good, five as good, four as good, three as great, two as great, and one as awesome.

Nice work.

Thanks for the comments. Since we have no native trees we get lots of sky to shoot. Which is okay because I like to shoot sky. ;)
