Shooting with 35mm Velvia 50. Lenses are 50mm 1.8, 85mm 1.8, and 70-180mm 4.5

problem is I lack a good light meter. I have never shot 50iso at night. I have never shot at night when there are flashy lights like in Vegas.

My question is, will I be able to handhold the camera or will i need a tripod? What shutter speeds should I expect to use? I would love to hear some feedback from people that have experience in taking photos of brightly lite building at night.

I only have 16 shots left so I to make sure I dont screw up any more than I probably have lol.

You are shooting the cityscape of Vegas at night with 50 ISO film ?

I haven't shot cityscapes under those conditions ...
Even with a good light meter, you will need to apply some guesstimation.
I suggest a tripod.

A tripod is a given if you're shooting with small apertures. Even with wide apertures, with 50 ISO film you'll probably need a tripod.

ok thanks for the advice.

I was looking at examples and it seems at 50iso and f11 I just need an exposure of 20 seconds. I am going to experiment with those settings, I think it is a good start though.
