Here’s one of my favourite hummingbirds from a trip I led earlier this year. These little beauties just erupt into glowing shades of purple, blue and green when seen from the right angle.

Gorgeous. I’ll definitely check out your site. I’m obsessed with hummingbirds right now!! I’m amazed you got such a clean shot at 1/1250. I’ve had to go to 1/6400 to get wings with no blur.

Wonderful shot! A gorgeous looking bird! I agree, surprised at getting no wing blur at 1/1250. I've been using my EOS 90D with manual settings, and a Tamron 18-400mm, but I'm going to experiment with using AV. Very nice!

A fantastic shot of an exquisitely beautiful bird!

Nice, looks to be on some kind of Cavendishia.

My, what a lovely shot!
