I am interested in starting photography. However I don't have a whole lot of money to get started. I found what I thought was a great deal on ebay for a camera kit:

http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2963953416&category=15235&rd=1

What are your thoughts on this? Is this camera any good? i thought it was agood deal b/c of the two lenses.
This auction ends soon, any help would be so appreciated!
Thanks!
Belle

The Canon Rebel-G is a good camera for a beginner.

The lenses overlap each other; you'll probably just use the 28-200 most of the time, although the other one is smaller, which might be handy.

I don't know if the price is a good deal or not. Check the completed auctions to see what this gear has been going for.

A good used dealer to check is
www.keh.com

Compared to the other auctions, it seems really good, and if I get it and it's no good, I can always re-sell it. I checked out that website and the problem is, along with so many great sites out there, I live in Canada and if they acutally do ship here, I would end up paying another $100 or more in shipping and tax/duty fees, so i'm trying to find something in Canada, which kind of limits me. Thanks for the quick reply!
