Hey I always wanted to know how do editors pull this drumroll effect off in music videos. I have an idea but I think there might be an easier way to do it. I call it a drum roll cut I dont know the technical name for this. Do anyone know how to do this in final cut or after effects?

You can see it in the Gucci's Lemonade video 0:50, 0:54 and on and one throughout the video
