I mainly like to shoot landscape or things that are dead. I'm not big into people or portraits unless its candid. So anyway, my wife wanted a flash for our cameras and I ended up getting this because we're dirt broke and the nikon was a bit much. I haven't used flash much and I don't know a thing about how to. The instruction manual isn't any help. My question is, has anyone ever used this flash?

We both use Nikon D5100 and have 18-55mm, 50mm, and 55-200mm.

Yes, other people have used that flash, and a lot of others pretty much just like it since it's sold under a variety of names.
