Waiting for the boat

The Western woman is Spanish and as beautiful as anyone I've seen. We had met her and her boyfriend (?) while hiking and she was as charming and sweet as she is beautiful.
The Lao woman either lives in the town or in an adjacent village was also waiting for the boat which traveled about 1 hour down river to a much larger town with significant road traffic and marketplace.

Lovely character study. I particularly love how the photo is both serene yet has tension--even without the title you feel that both subjects are waiting for something, that there is an incompleteness. Nice how you captured that.
