Anyone know how the WSJ is getting their headshots? I assume it's a filter / preset / action, just curious if anyone has seen anything available publicly that creates that effect.

If you Bing or Google "Wall Street Journal headshot" you'll find a bunch more like that. I was asked by a colleague if I could create a headshot like that for them.

The WSJ does not use a filter. They use artists. Those are drawings.

Google 'hedcut' and for automated fakes try 'hedcut generator'
