Go to yard sales, thrift stores, etc. You should find something for half your budget, lens included. Just make sure and stick to the built-like-tanks models with no bells and whistles.

My local camera store, where I get my film processed, always has a nice selection of good cameras at about that price (Penn Camera). There is an N90S there right now for about that price. Any pro camera shop that accepts old cameras will have something. So will the used departments of B&H or Adorama, just check their sites. I bought my brand new-looking F80 there for $125 - I swear if they sold it labeled new and had put the seals back on the box I wouldn't have been able to tell it was used.
