Thanks guys. No offence to anyone, but I'm surprised that more discussion about the water drops has not been ................ discussed. This should be a photographers wet dream.... I mean, if you're into that sorta stuff..... How many people have posted water drop shots?
 
Do you need a macro lens for water drops?
 
A macro lens sure helps. You want to get in close, really close, but not so close you keep getting the lens splashed on.
 
Damn.. very nice indeed, I love the colors in the image in the first link, curious how he got the circular blue reflection.... mustve snooted the light that was pointed at the background surface?

Wanted to start doing some water drops again, but sure... as soon as I get my cable release I lose my tripods quick release plate, ughz.
