Water Droplet Photography

You'll need to use manual focus. Set the focus point ahead of time. It looks like your autofocus is focusing on the rim everytime you take a picture. Also something in the f/5.6 range or higher might help.

My other suggestion would be the container in general... it seems a bit obtrusive...

That image that stillboarding posted shows it perfectly. The water needs to be the focal point of the shot with nothing distracting from it.

Not only is that rim of the container the point of focus, it is also really distracting for the eye, I actually didn't notice the droplets until my second look!

But good first effort! Keep trying!
 
How I did my first ones was very simple. Took a sink, filled it with water leaving about 2 inches from the top. Set up the shot so only water showed, but you couldn't see the bottom. Then I used my finger to set a manual focus in the middle, then I dropped stuff in the water. I didn't even use anything besides the pop-up flash and got some good results.
