Water Works (remastered)

Living in minnesota means that quite often the temperature is just plain too cold for the camera to function properly. Which means I wind up going through old photos trying to make them better. This is one such attempt. The first is pretty much straight out of the camera, which at the time was all it needed to have it be one of my all time favorite captures. Unfortunately I seemed to be the only one who liked it so much.

But now, looking at the old versus the new. I find the new one just far more captivating. Any thoughts?

I love the tone on the second. The first didn't really capture my interest, but you're right that the re-worked version makes this a much better image, at least to me.

Funny, I like the first better - darker and more mysterious.

the master remastering! excellent result in your remaster; much preferred, but i still like the first too. :thumbup:
