Waterfall- Comments on the composition elements please.

It's okay. I think the distance of the waterfall causes a loss in subject matter. The trees overwelm the falls and the ground in the left lower corner is kind of distracting. Two things for me is that the lighting is very flat. If this was taken early morning or late evening, it would have a more dramatic look. And this is an instance where a slow shutter would blur the water and make that element more interesting.

Yeah I would agree with KevinR. I think the tree are overpowering the water. You could zoom in next time to fill more of the frame with the subject or just crop it after it's shot.
