Its a interesting shot, but where is the blue coming from?

It almost looks like someone spilled paint on the rocks or it should be in Avatar.

the blue comes from: i used a vari ND filter on the darker image, and when you use those if you turn it down alot it gives you a blue overcast to the image..and i'm betting i didnt set the white balance after i turned it down---it's a great filter but i think there is a learning curve to it..
