Watermark........

This one is drivin me crazy.....i'm using PSP-X2 to watermark some pics......the file i am using to watermark is gif. file, but when i insert the object on to the picture i get a white box around the object..i need the object to be transparent......any help, please??

Gif only has 1 transparent state. Every other type is a colour, there are no half transparent values which is why it jumps suddenly from clear to a white line around it.

I suggest you look at a proper photo editing program like the free GIMP which supports layers and would allow you to water mark images like that.
