What do you think of them for images online? Do you think they are tacky?

I stick to using the copyright info in photoshop. I think having a tag discreetly in the corner of your photo is ok. I do not like when it is displayed in the center of the shot. Then again I have never had an image ripped off (I do not think). People have different motivations for using them.

I have had images "ripped off" and I will always use a watermark. I hate the way it looks but it made me mad.
