We just had a downpour that provided me the opportunity to take this picture.

The dull green leaves are a drag compared to the flower. But that can be easily cropped.

Nothing except for that, the droplets of water are simply beautiful!

I don't see how the dull green leaves are a drag... they are the flower's identity & make the flower that much more enjoyable.

Great picture

Anyone else see Jesus in that picture?

Lol....just messing....droplets are very nice ron. good capture

ahh, I agree... I always love water droplets (one reason I often have a little spray bottle with me :) )
I would probably do a little more cropping, work on the two poles and the dark shadow at the bottom of the flower. I like it though.

Thanks all for your comments.

I find it interesting the various perspectives on any given posted pic.

In this case, I deliberately increased the DOF to include leaves with droplets of water; I think it added but I see some disagree.

not me, it is what it is, a plant, I think it adds to the photos,,just my opinion

I'm a sucker for water beads! Love it!

Me too, I love droplets or water beads, and most of all do I love the effect that you captured in the very bottom right left, the little starburst of the sun reflecting off the drop/bead. In order to get those, you need to work with a small aperture. Other here say "shallower DOF", which means larger aperture. I'm torn...

I love the colours and the droplets.
