We the People

Hello everyone,

I'm relatively new here when it comes to posting...although I've been lurking forever.

How do you like this shot? It was shot using T-Maxx 400 indoors and printed on Ilford pearl multigrade b+w.

C+C welcome of course...do you think the triangles in the corners are too distracting?

Not too bad, I would have focused on the "we the people" a little better. Still a nice shot.

After I printed a few frames, I noticed that I didn't have "we the people" in focus very well. I may reshoot sometime as it is a pretty easy object to find.

Those are the easy ways of digital photography: you get some instant feedback and can correct/minimally correct your settings at once (provided you read your screen right) - trying this using film, needing to develop that and having to go into the darkroom to make the prints is a bit more ""WOW!" to me, I must say! And the DOF was razor-thin,as is obvious. Cool shooting!

Thanks LaPhoto. I'm not exactly sure of the apperture. I borrowed an older macro lens from my photography teacher and slapped it on my dad's old AE-1.
