My wife is looking to find a new host for her website. She is currently hosted with Imagequix but is looking at Showit - Take Control of Your Website! or Online Portfolio Websites for Photographers, Artists, Designers, Art Directors & Creative Professionals. Manage your own online HTML, non-flash portfolio web site. . Just wondering if anyone has any history, suggestions or recommendations concerning either of these companies or any other website hosting company?

I just switched to Just Host, seems to be good and the price is right (around $4/mo).

I use Viewbook - Perfect Online Portfolio Websites - Photography Designer Artist They are good, but there are SEO issues. liveBooks - websites designed to get you more business is popular around here. Moral of the story. Make sure to check out the compatibility with google webtools. Also plan on spending as much as you can. Your website is a huge deal and must have impact and be easy to navigate.

Today, there are litterally 100's of good web hosting sites.

You might find a good deal with one of the lessen known providers but you'll usually get the best bang for your buck and support with a name brand like www.godaddy.com.

I use Just Host also. I bought my template from Bludomain.com for $50 and another $50 for them to set it up on Just Host for me. They have lots of templates from $50 to $400.
