Website Traffic... How much?

I just set up a Google Analytics account, so I am finally tracking how many hits my site gets per day. So...

How many hits does your website get per day?

My average is 53.4 over the past 5 days. The high is 77 and the low is 20 for my website.

My blog has gotten much more traffic. The average is 102.75 per day for the last 8 days. The high is 188 and the low is 29.

Tell me about your traffic!

Released this website at the beginning of the week for my uncle, it's been getting about 50 unique visits a day so far not which isn't so bad. Need to whack up the marketing I think.

What kind of blog is it? Personal stuff? Photos? Tutorials?

More important is the web site's bounce rate, the lower the number the better. Shoot for less than a 10% bounce rate.

If your blog is on Blogger, the 102.75 number in the stats is not hits, but page views. In other words a single hit (ISP address, or person) likely views more than 1 page.

An decent blog will average 10,000+ page views a day. A good blog will have well over 100,000 page views a day.
