so im not sure if this would be the best place to put this but i was wondering if anyone had ordered a lens from this site? it just seems to real to be true that this lens is new and 1 - 200 dollars cheaper that it is anywhere else. any ideas on if this website is good?

Adorama is absolutely trustworthy. But did you catch it's a refurbished lens?

I have had very good luck with Nikon refurbished products.

what does it mean to be refurbished? was it damaged and then they fixed it?

Customer returns usually... sometimes there's nothing wrong with them but each one is gone through.

Sometimes it is a damaged lens that is repaired, other times it is just a lens returned by a customer. It means they won't tell you and you take a chance. I buy only new.
