Weekly challenge 10/10 - 10/16 It’s fall about macro!

I don't have a macro lens.

For this week’s challenge, post macro photos (or close up if you don’t have a macro lens) with a fall theme. The fall theme can be based on subject or color - or some other clever association. Be creative and try something new.

As always, new photos only for the weekly challenge please. Get out there and shoot!

Oooops. I deleted my previous submission as I did not realize at the time this was Macro ... with a FALL flavor.

As with my first submission I again used Focus bracketing and Focus stacking. This yields an interesting result but I don't really like this image and it is really a closeup...but it least this time it is a Fall theme.

I don't have a macro lens but shot this close-up adding a slight crop. When I shot this I wasn't thinking of macro so I suppose I could have gotten closer with my 20mm lens on full frame camera.

This past Sunday we were able to get to one of the few areas in New Mexico which has hardwoods which turn red in autumn. There are maples and oaks in very few locations. We mostly have trees whose leaves turn yellow in fall.
