I don't want to highjack the thread so you can message me directly with any ideas: I'm interested in thought processes regarding people in or out of images. Sometimes it is clear cut and people make or break the photo. Other times it is a little murky.

The "without" shot is quite beautiful and an angle that I have never seen before. Usually it's the head-on shot (myself included in that), so the next time I visit my brother, I will have to try this. Thanks for the inspiration!

Went to a LAKE this weekend, and shot these. The dock, from the research I was able to do, is some 1500 years old. The lake is known as Tai Lake in Jiangsu Provence in China. The sky was the most blue I have ever seen here in China and was just magnificent.
